All elevations are based on the precise-level net as adjusted in 1907 by the Coast and Geodetic Survey to a common mean sea-level datum. Described in this bulletin, which lie within or along the borders of these States, comprises the line of the Coast and Geodetic Survey from Arkansas City via Van Buren to Garfield, Ark. And from Greenville, Miss, to Vicksburg, Miss; also lines of the Corps of' Engineers, U. S. Army, along Mississippi River and in southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana.
