Dr. Abdullah Ansari is a Research Professor at Sultan Qaboos University (Oman) and specializes in research on geotechnical earthquake engineering, infrastructure resilience, and sustainable tunnel design. His expertise spans seismic risk analysis, geophysical site exploration, and the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance infrastructure resilience. He has been involved in the seismic risk assessments for the Al-Sharqiyah Tunnel and robustness evaluations of Muscat's coastal highway network. In addition he has worked on seismic safety evaluations of nuclear power plants in South Korea, where he contributed to the development of advanced seismic hazard mitigation strategies Dr. Zhongkai Huang is currently serving as an assistant professor at the Department of Geotechnical Engineering, Tongji University, China. His research interest is in using advanced techniques to conduct risk and resilience assessment and control of geotechnical infrastructure. Utilizing recent advances in computational geotechnical engineering, he has undertakn research on the use of multi-disciplinary techniques to solve practical risk and resilience assessment of underground structures and tunnels problems Professor Ayed Eid specializes in civil and structural engineering. He earned his MSc in Structural and Foundation Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, and his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK. Currently a Full Professor at the Islamic University of Madinah (IUM), Saudi Arabia, he has extensive experience as an engineer, designer, site supervisor, and academic. His research covers concrete and steel structures, earthquake engineering, soil-structure interaction, and solid waste management
