Author Information

Lori Guevara is an associate professor of criminal justice at Fayetteville State University. She holds a Ph.D. and master's degree in criminal justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dr. Guevara's research interests include the influence of race on juvenile court outcomes, the impact of school suspension on juvenile court involvement, and strategies to assess student learning outcomes. Her research has appeared in Race and Justice: An International Journal, Journal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice, and Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice: An Interdisciplinary Journal, among others.
