After a brief stint in the industry, he became an academic in 1997. Dinesh Kant Kumar is a Professor in Biomedical Engineering at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He has graduated to completion 24 PhD and 6 Masters by research students, and has published over 400 papers.
