He has made his debut with a prestigious theatrical association called La Comedie Capoise. Recognized for his breathtaking articulation, he was chosen to cite a patriotic poem during one of the country's memorial holiday. His magnificent performance has swayed the director of the aforesaid theatrical association to extend a special invitation to Sylvan to play an eminent role in a production called Angelique. Admired for his remarkable depiction of the role, many people have advised him to pursue an acting career. In 1984, Sylvan has left Haiti to come to the United States to follow his dreams. He has first earned a Bachelor of Arts at Widener University in Delaware, and subsequently went to Law School at Denver University School of Law in Denver, Colorado. However, acting has always been his passion. He left the law school to pursue his acting career.
