Overview

He is not one among the 'rich and famous'. It is the narration of a very ordinary man, about an eventful journey in his life. He has enjoyed success in life, failures due to his mistakes and negligence of others as well as disappointment due to the treachery of some business associates. He has never shied away from facing his weaknesses or from projecting his strength. His only prayer is that, if some of the readers find that his perseverance in life encourages and inspires them to explore the vast opportunities spread, provides insight to be cautious at the treacherous sweet-talk of some opportunists who want to take advantage, he considers that his mission in writing this reflection, has accomplished its purpose.

Author Information

A candour and honest narration by Madhavan Kavanal, about the trajectory of his life, where ups, downs and plain rough roads were in plenty, lived in various geography, interacting with people of different faith, colour, culture and stature, it was his desire to expose various idiosyncrasies of human character to the benefit of his readers. The world and times he travelled, of course, was different from the present one in many ways and reflecting in that background itself makes it different from today's environment. Kavanal's writings and narrations are sincere and honest and he believes his frankness will give a positive message to the readers - a lesson to be aware of while dealing with human beings, even loved ones.
