Author Information

Jim Haberkorn was born in Brooklyn. From 1969 to 1975 he fired an M1 Rocket Launcher (bazooka) for the Marine Corp Reserves and had many interesting adventures. In 1975 he began serving a two-year mission for his church in North Carolina where he met the real-life Brother-in-law, one of the heroes in his newest book, Redfish, his third novel. In 1978 he began working for Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto, CA. He continued working for HP for the next 37 years until his retirement in 2016. His work took him around the United States as well to Johannesburg, South Africa and Zurich, Switzerland. During his many hours on airplanes, he began writing thrillers to relax. He published his first book in 2011. His second thriller was published in March 2013. His hobbies are hiking, exploring Switzerland, watching episodes of NCIS, church work, and learning German. Currently he lives in Zurich, Switzerland with his wife Kim.
