Redemption is a most worthy sequel to The Contest. Carne has resurrected the wonderful, believable characters from her first book and added some new human, and sometimes humorous, ones to the cast. Carne Maxwell lives in Auckland with her husband and two teenage children. Carne's profession as an artist led her to expand into the world of writing.
