Overview

"Black and white edition. (Disclaimer: this edition is low end, not art quality). This title also available in full colour, art edition: same title, different cover). Published by Wild Embers Press (2020). ""Red Flower VIsion"" is an esoteric memoir created within a fusion of narratives, stories, interviews, artwork and poetry. Excerpts from Paola Igliori previously books ""Stickman: John Trudell"", ""Entrails, Heads & Tails"" and""American Magus: Harry Smith"" are included. This memoir is rich with encounters that landed Paola Igliori into the lives of many creative and famous, kindred spirits, including Lakota activist and spoken word poet John Trudell (1946-2015), beat poets Allen Ginsberg and Gregory Corso, and esoteric genius Harry Smith. Trudell holds a space in Igliori's story of art and Life: an entire section of this book is dedicated to him, within ""Intimate Evocations"". Paola's life story is a unique time and place revisited, revealing life as an Italian woman in infinite quest for healing, and Love. Key to the telling of her story is an interview with Italian journalist Manuela de Leonardis, coupled with Paola's poetry, narratives of life projects, and excerpts from her time with John Trudell. The book is enlivened via photographs by Raymond Foye, Filippo Chia, Jeannette Montgomery Barron, and artwork by Wolfgang Laib, Harry Smith, James Turrell, Cy Twombly, Louise Bourgeois. And many more."
