Author Information

Jörg Rogge is Professor of History, Middle Ages, at the University of Mainz, Germany. He is also spokesperson of the Research Unit Historical Cultural Sciences, Mainz. His research interests are methods and theory of cultural historical sciences, and social and cultural history of late medieval Europe. Kristina Müller-Bongard is a research assistant and the coordinator of the research unit Historical Cultural Sciences, Mainz. She studied art history and cultural anthropology at Mainz University. Her research interests are counter-reformation art, political iconography and early modern art literature.
