English summary: Legal protection through decision architectures In the course of numerous technological developments, it is increasingly possible for the state to use complex algorithmic decision-making systems. Based on a critical examination of the legal understanding of decisions, the interdisciplinary informed, descriptive methodology of decision architecture is introduced to enable an analytical de- and reconstruction of the state's transforming decision-making structures with the objective of guarantee effective constitutional control. German description: Im Zuge zahlreicher technologischer Entwicklungen ist es dem Staat zunehmend moglich, digitale Entscheidungssysteme einzusetzen, die auf Algorithmen basieren, auf umfassende Datenbestande zuruckgreifen konnen und sich durch erhebliche Komplexitat, Effizienz und Variabilitat hinsichtlich ihres Einsatzes auszeichnen. Das etablierte Thema der Automatisierung in Staat und Verwaltung unterliegt im Zuge der gegenwartigen soziotechnischen Transformationsprozesse neuen Dynamiken und stellt den Anlass der Arbeit dar. Ausgehend von einer kritischen Betrachtung des juristischen Verstandnisses von Entscheidungen und Entscheidungsbildung wird der Bedarf einer interdisziplinar offenen Rechtswissenschaft nach einer analytischen De- und Rekonstruktion der sich wandelnden staatlich-exekutiven Entscheidungsgebilde festgestellt. Fur diese Zwecke wird unter Beachtung rechtsstaatlicher Anforderungen an Kontrolle und Individualrechtsschutz die interdisziplinar informierte, deskriptive Systematik der Entscheidungsarchitektur eingefuhrt, deren Anwendung die Herleitung konkreter verfassungsrechtlicher Ergebnisse sowie konstruktive, interdisziplinare Analysen komplexer staatlicher Entscheidungsbildung ermoglicht.
