OverviewErgonomics has taken on an increasingly prominent role in the design of work environments, characterising everything from man's relationship with the various techniques to the need for quality, productivity and cost reduction inherent in production. In general terms, an ergonomic analysis is used to analyse the working conditions of a given task in order to provide comfort and safety for workers.
