Charles L. Brooks III is an American theoretical and computational biophysicist. He is the Warner-Lambert/Park-Davis Professor of Chemistry and Professor of Biophysics at the University of Michigan. Martin Karplus is an Austrian-born American theoretical chemist. He is the Theodore William Richards Professor of Chemistry, emeritus at Harvard University.
