Dr. Snigdha Singh is an accomplished researcher and educator in medicinal chemistry and nanoscience, currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Delhi and Deputy Director of the Institute of Nano Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. With a distinguished academic trajectory and extensive international research exposure, she has established herself as a leading young scientist in the field of chemical and biomedical research. She earned her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Delhi (2021), under the supervision of Prof. Ramesh Chandra, where her thesis focused on the synthesis and development of novel heterocycles and their biological evaluation. Prior to that, she completed her M.Tech. in Chemical Synthesis and Process Technologies (CSPT) at the University of Delhi with first division (2016) and her B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry from Hindu College, University of Delhi (2013), graduating with top merit distinctions. Her academic excellence was recognized early with a merit fellowship and multiple university-level awards. Dr. Singh's professional journey reflects a unique blend of teaching, research, and leadership roles. Beyond her faculty appointment, she has served as Resident Tutor at Ambedkar-Ganguly Students House for Women, and has held prestigious international positions, including Postdoctoral Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (USA), Guest Scientist at Humboldt University (Germany), and Visiting Scientist at Lobachevsky University (Russia). She was also selected as an Indo-UK Newton Bhabha Scholar at the University of Oxford and an Indo-Italy Exchange Scholar at the University of Siena, further expanding her global research collaborations. Her research contributions span drug design, nanostructures for biomedical applications, and innovative drug delivery systems.
