Isabella Evangeline Ofori is a student at Bishop David Motiuk Catholic Elementary/Junior High School in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Isabella was born in 2011 in London, United Kingdom. Isabella has ancestral roots in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, West Africa. Isabella is a great-grandchild of the late Nana Boamah Kwabi II, Omanhene (Traditional Chief) of Beposo (Mampong), Ashanti Region of Ghana. Isabella moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 2012 with her parents, Benjamin Ofori and Mrs. Afia Mensah-Ofori. Isabella loves reading, writing, music and dancing, and modelling in traditional African outfits. Benjamin Ofori works with the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Seniors and Housing as a Portfolio Advisor. He immigrated to Canada from the United Kingdom with his wife Afia and daughter Isabella, and he originally comes from Ghana in West Africa. Benjamin is a holder of Master's in Business Administration from the University of Derby, the United Kingdom, and Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. Benjamin also holds a Child Development Supervisor Certification from the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Children Services. Benjamin has lived and worked in four countries and on three continents, with over 20 years of experience locally and internationally, working in private for-profit, non-profit and governments at municipal and provincial levels. Benjamin has a passion for empowering communities and young people, and has actively served in several school committees in Canada and the United Kingdom. Benjamin enjoys music, plays trumpet and drums, and is also a vocalist.
