Author Information

Dr Okore Okorafor received his PhD from the University of Cape Town, where he was a lecturer in Health Economics. He has written several articles and book chapters on the subject. He now works as a health economist in the private medical industry (Medi-Clinic Southern Africa). He is also coordinator of the Health Economics Policy Network (HEPnet) Africa. HEPnet is a network that aims to develop health economics capacity in Africa. Currently, there are eight member countries: South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania.
