Author Information

"David Grundy is a poet and scholar based in London. His books of poetry include Relief Efforts (2018), To the Reader (2016) and The Problem, The Questions, The Poem (2015). He is also author of the work of criticism, A Black Arts Poetry Machine: Amiri Baraka and the Umbra Poets (2019). His current research focuses on American post-war queer poetry, particular the San Francisco Renaissance, the ""Occult School"" of Boston and New Narrative writing. He co-runs the small press materials and the magazine Splinter."
