"Associate Professor in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of Iowa. Although her formal training and subsequent clinical practice have focused mostly on normal and disordered child language, she has published a number of papers on the discourse management performance and challenges facing young children who stutter. Throughout her professional career, she has been particularly interested in multicultural aspects of ""best practices"" and is a strong proponent of the critical role they play in service delivery to all clients.
