"Polly Alice McCann, author, artist, mother of two began writing poetry after a trip to the desert where she slept with only a book for a pillow. She won the 2014 Ernest Hartmann award from the International Association for the Study of Dreams from Berkley, CA, for research on the subconscious writing process.
