MECHANISMS OF CYCLIC MOTION. LUBRICATION SYSTEMS. COMPONENTS OF MECHANISMS. .ReviewsThe book provides excellent technical information and very useful details on advanced machinery and mechanical components not sufficiently treated by the classical mechanical engineering design textbooks... The 'real-world' applications and simplified mathematical expressions makes it an extremely useful and practical reference book for the practicing engineers. -Jacob Bortman, Professor, Ben Gurion University, Israel ... reflects the extensive real-world experience of the authors. This probably distinguishes it from many of the currently in-use texts on the kinematics and design of mechanisms. -Maurice L. Adams, Jr. ... includes plenty of detailed examples ... useful for experienced mechanical design engineers... as a reference for advanced topics. -Reuven Katz, Technion, Israel The book provides excellent technical information and very useful details on advanced machinery and mechanical components not sufficiently treated by the classical mechanical engineering design textbooks... Klebanov, PhD, has accumulated approximately 50 years of professional experience in the design of diesel engines and drive units for marine and land applications, reduction gears, hydraulic devices, and mine-clearing equipment. Dr. Klebanov is the author of many articles and the coauthor of three books in the field of machinery. He worked from 1959 to 1990 in St. Petersburg, Russia, as a designer and head of the gear department in a company in the heavy engine industry and then at Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) as a principal mechanical engineer until 2009. Dr. Klebanov is now retired. Morel Groper, PhD, served from 1987 to 2010 in the Israeli Navy as a design engineer, a navy shipyard chief marine engineer, and as the navy head of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Dr. Groper earned his PhD in 1999 from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. In 2010, Dr. Groper retired from the navy and launched his R&D company to provide comprehensive mechanical engineering and naval architecture services to naval, marine, offshore, and industrial sectors. In 2014, Dr. Groper joined the University of Haifa to promote his research work. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
