"I was always taught that You had to hide your sexuality. You were supposed to be ashamed of it. That having a sexual nature, wasn't natural...that it wasn't of God. That in order to be loved by God, you weren't allowed to have that innate part of you...a part of you that God created. That didn't make sense to me. This book, is my poetic journey to acceptance and love, of my sexual human nature. Once I truly accepted this part of me...despite what the religion, told me...I was able to fully penetrate the heart of God. I was able to fully see how much God truly loves me. I was able to experience a freedom I had yet to experience before. Yes, parts of the book are erotic. Yes, parts of the book are raw. But all of the parts are real. They show, through their untidy margins, and chaotic scheme, how our life is, at times. How we can pivot from deep spirtuality...to deep sexual yearning. How nothing is linear really. Our thoughts and emotions, aren't neatly graphed on a timeline of threads. Things circle back round again...things pop up unexpectedly. And most importantly, things always find a way to be said. Despite all of the attempts of society, and men (humankind), to tell us it's ""wrong"", a ""sin"", something to be ignored, shunned, and repressed....it's within us. It's a part of us. And in all honesty, what if, that is just fine. Or even more than that...what if it's a blessing...to be discovered, welcomed, and cherished, in all of us. What if we were meant for more than compartmentalizing and shame. What if we don't listen and accept those voices that once told us, we were unclean. What if we believe that we are perfect, just as He created us to Be. Let's love our Selves... Let's love all of Us... Right where we are. Thank you! I Love You."
