"Sonya knew and remembered me from my young childhood at church, although my first memories of her come from my teenage years where she and her husband, Joe, served in the youth at a local church. At the time she had two young boys. She taught piano, served in the church, and cared for her husband, children, and anyone else that needed her. Sonya has a degree in education, but chose to devote her time to her Lord, husband, and children. Oh, how that was such the right choice. Sonya R. Storey grew up in Oneida, TN, the firstborn of three children. She is an intentional woman, wife, mother, educator, Children's Director, advocate, musician, coach, mentor, Bible teacher who loves Jesus, and local church influencer. She is passionate about encouraging and ministering to women. She holds a Master of Education degree from Liberty University, serving over 30 years alongside her college sweetheart Joseph in youth and children's ministries, a seasoned wife and mother of four sons (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Micaiah, and Nehemiah), together they mentor the next generation.
