Prof. Deependra Singh (M.Pharm, Ph.D, Post-doc (USA)) is presently working at University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G.) India. He is chairman of the education regulation committee and central council member of the pharmacy council of India (PCI). He has around 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has 145 research and review papers published in national and international journals. He has written 30 book chapters and two books with Elsevier. He has successfully completed projects funded by ICMR, UGC, AICTE, DST, CGCOST, and several industrial projects. He has citations more than 7943 (h-index of 36 and i10 index of 123-Google scholar) and scopus h-index 30; 3514 citations. He has 2 international, 3 Indian patents and 2 filed. He has been among the top 2% of scientists across the world in the field of pharmacy and pharmacology in a survey by Stanford University, USA for four consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). He was a visiting scientist at the National Center for Natural Products Research, School of Pharmacy, University of Mississippi, USA. He was a recipient of the DHR-ICMR award for young biomedical scientist in 2019, UGC RAMAN international fellow in 2014, UGC research award in 2012, and a number of awards at national and state level for excellence in research.
