Overview

A young man from Chicago with a dream for a higher education at a prestigious university is determine to leave the crime-ridden neighborhood in Chicago changing the direction of his life. During his pursuit to obtaining an education, he endures the bumps and obstacles of having to pay for his schooling. While in school he embarks on a path with some unsavory characters. Along his life journey he becomes close friends with some fellow students who he befriends at the university. The story continues to follow the lives of the five students who befriend Spikes, forging a lifetime bond of friendship and loyalty. Through the difficulties of their growth they must navigate life's maze and turmoil, while staying strong for each other giving constant support. When confronted with adversity that threatens their friendship and the empire they have built, the call to action is impressed upon with stupendous results. Finding their true selves through the adversity realizing the importance of friendships. This came at a time when they needed to lean on one another for better or worse.
