A book 'for a Child, by a Child' as a gift 'for a parent by a parent'. I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading Hafsa's book! I think the language and creativity it showcases is something of brilliance. You can really see her internalize the events such as 9/11 and her love for her teachers. I was glad to read something so raw and obviously written by a child for a child. Your ending passage really speaks to all us parents, and it makes me rethink how to capture my own children's youth.
