Overview

Meet Normous Norman, Thin Tim, Sidney the Kidney and all the other people, animals and objects whose shapes are created by the text of their poems. Here are somersaulting poems, rocket-launching poems, hair-styling poems and poems that simply delight and surprise. Gina Douthwaite's ingenious words leap, dance, sweep and creep their way across the pages in a visual feast created by startling and innovative typography. It is a perfect way to introduce children to the amazing possibilities of poetry.
