One of the doyens of portrait photography in Hollywood, Douglas Kirkland works together with Françoise Kirkland to create a modern-day abecedarium: the inimitable acrobatic sky dancer Erika Lemay, Milanese fashion director Simone Guidarelli, and designer William Thoren. Douglas Kirkland is a Canadian-born American photographer who has worked extensively in fashion and motion picture industry. His work has been exhibited worldwide with a recent retrospective at Rome's MAXXI. FrançoiseKirkland is a French publicist and agent. Francois and Douglas Kirkland have been lovers and partners in each other's creative journey for almost half a century.
