OverviewThe turn of the twentieth and twenty-first century brought about sweeping technological changes which impacted our way of functioning in society. One of those constitutes the transition from analog to digital photography. The aim of this monograph is to capture these changes and their image preserved in poetry written after 1989, based on Polish literature. To highlight the changes that occurred alongside the digital revolution, and indicate contact points between contemporary poetry and photography, both analog and digital, the author employs new tools and terms from the field of literary studies, such as “photo-grapheme” and “photo-graphemic.” Full Product DetailsAuthor: Ryszard Nycz , Barbara EnglenderPublisher: Peter Lang AG Imprint: Peter Lang AG Edition: New edition Volume: 30 Weight: 0.529kg ISBN: 9783631857991ISBN 10: 3631857993 Pages: 356 Publication Date: 22 September 2022 Audience: Professional and scholarly , Professional & Vocational Format: Hardback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In Print This item will be ordered in for you from one of our suppliers.
