During his career, he directed three international projects funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. He publishes regularly on various domains of philosophy and German studies. Elisabete M. de Sousa is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Philosophy at the University of Lisbon. Her research covers philosophy of music and literature focusing on Kierkegaard, Mann, Wagner, Berlioz, Schumann and Liszt. She has translated Kierkegaard and Wollstonecraft, and is the author of over 50 articles and book chapters.Fernando M. F. Silva is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Centre for Philosophy at the University of Lisbon. He is the co-founder and member of the Nucleus for Kantian and Idealistic Studies, and co-editor of the journal Estudos Kantianos. He has published numerous articles on, and translations of, Kant’s anthropology and aesthetics, as well as work on Novalis, Fichte, and Hölderlin, among others.
