He teaches theology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. G. E. H. Palmer also translated Writings from the Philokalia: On Prayer of the Heart. Philip Sherrard was a poet, translator, literary scholar, theologian and interpreter of the Orthodox tradition.
