Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAuthor: lla Shine is the pen name of two writers, Penny Reeve and Cecily Paterson, who live in Sydney, Australia. Penny Reeve is the author of more than 25 books for children and young adults and also writes as Penny Jaye. Her most recent work includes the picture book, One Potoroo, and the CALEB Award winning junior novel, Camp Max. Penny trained as a K-6 teacher. She has a Master of Arts in writing and literature and is engaged in further research as a PhD candidate focusing on young adult fiction. Cecily Paterson is the author of nine middle fiction and young YA novels for teen girls including Invisible, runner up in the Amazon Book of the Year Award. Her memoir, Love Tears & Autism won third prize in the Australian Christian Book of the Year Awards. Several of her novels are on the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge list. Illustrator: Illustrator and cover designer, Lisa Flanagan, has illustrated 35 books for children of all ages. Lisa’s preferred medium is freehand digital illustration.
