Author Information

Annick Le Guérer is an anthropologist, philosopher, and university doctorate based in Paris. She is an expert in scent and perfume, and a researcher associated with LIMSIC, Université de Bourgogne. She served as the scientific commissioner of several perfume exhibitions, including Le Parfum: Un Code Invisible at the Copernic Center in Warsaw (2013), Des Hommes Et Des Plantes Qui Soignent at Domaine de la Roche Jagu (2015) and – most recently – Toilette et Beauté Au XVII Siècle at Musée Promenade de Marly, 2015.
