Negli anni '80 ha studiato filologia romanica e tedesca. Scrive prosa breve, racconti, romanzi, saggi e anche poesie in catalano e tedesco. Nel 2007, è stato premiato ricevendo il premio Wiener Werkstattpreis, mentre un altro premio, al Kurzprosa-Wettbewerb dell'Associazione degli Scrittori Austriaci, gli fu consegnato nel 2010.
