Author Information

Ron Ceyplayed in Major League Baseball as a third baseman from 1971 through 1987. He won four National League pennants and one World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was the 1981 World Series MVP. Ken Gurnickspent nearly four decades on the Los Angeles Dodgers beat, from 1982 until his retirement in 2020. He covered the team for MLB.com for 20 seasons and previously wrote for theLos Angeles Herald Examiner.
