Dr. Baldassano’s research focuses on children who have inflammatory bowel diseases, and he oversees a large team of researchers at CHOP working to translate discoveries in the laboratory into direct patient care for children. Judith R Kelsen, MD, is Program Director of the Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease (VEO-IBD) Clinic and an Attending Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Jonathan Markowitz, M.D, served on faculty at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for approximately 5 years before he joined Greenville Children's Hospital in 2006, where he has served as division chief of pediatric gastroenterology for the last 6 years.
