Reviews

'This book provides a comprehensive and incisive analysis of the failure of the Norwegian mediation to facilitate a negotiated settlement to the protracted ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. A well-researched study that draws on a wide variety of sources, this book makes several important policy-relevant findings. It is an important contribution at a time when the usefulness of third-party mediation is being re-examined.' Amal Jayawardane, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka
