Author Information

Teri Rogowski found her true passion later in life after spending a quarter of a century providing financial guidance to the clients of a national firm. Determined to create a personalized service especially for women, she founded Day2day Personal Financial, LLC. Since 2017, she has provided a customized approach designed to help her clients with their daily money management needs. She is part educator, part research pro, part taskmaster, part numbers cruncher and part cheerleader. Originally from suburban Detroit, Teri had a lifetime of experiences seemingly all at once. She truly understands what it feels like to be suddenly thrust into unwanted financial transition. She was married twice, divorced and widowed at the age of 33 with four children. She had more than her fair share of heartache, stress and financial hardships. These early events provide a foundation of real-world experience which has enabled Teri to be an extraordinary educator, guide and partner to her clients. As a single mother, she accepted a secretarial position at a financial services firm. That decision turned out to be an unexpected invitation into the world of money - and how to handle it. She studied at night to earn the licenses required to become a stockbroker which set in motion an empowering 30+ year career. Educating and empowering women in the area of personal finance became a passion. In 1997, she was recruited to help open a branch office in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. While there, she earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner(TM), and Teri has provided financial guidance to hundreds of people. Her passion for helping women who are facing financial life transitions has been invaluable to many. She has hosted seminars and taught courses targeted specifically to their needs. Teri also holds the additional designation of Certified Senior Advisor, equipping her to identify the most appropriate options and solutions for the needs of seniors. Teri serves as a dedicated partner to individuals and families seeking help and guidance to understand, organize and smoothly manage daily monetary tasks. Her oversight to personal money matters has revealed issues that are easily rectified but often overlooked. Those findings along with her experience brought about the idea to birth this book.
