Overview

The photography and accompanying script in this 130-page, full-color book is intended to aid, encourage and enhance your own spiritual quest, thereby bringing a deepened sense of wonder and insight that will bring added fulfillment to your life. In opening the book to any two-page spread, you will find that it becomes a meditation within itself. The photographs draw one into the nature theme, and the inspirational words complete the meditative process. This book may be used as a short daily meditation guide, as there are 53 individual contemplations from which to choose. As one of my testimonials stated: As I read a page each morning, what I see and feel has a very deep impact on me. Target audience: anyone who may be ill or nearing the end of their life; any sincere seeker who is desiring to enhance their spiritual experience.

Author Information

Margaret Jackson is a native of Colorado, graduating from the University of Denver with a BFA degree. She worked as a graphic artist at De Anza College, Cupertino, CA, for 26 years prior to moving to Sedona, AZ, in 1989. After purchasing her first camera in 1959 and shooting just one roll of film, she had an inner knowing that nature photography was going to be her special gift to be shared with others. The photos in this book span 40 years of shooting; the writings, written over a ten-year period. The range of images in the book covers the southwest of the USA, from California to Colorado. Her hand-made note cards and enlargements have found their way around the world. She has been published on book covers and websites, in calendars, brochures and magazines, and sells through a stock photography brokerage house in New York. She continues to reside in Sedona, AZ, and pursues her passion for photography on a full-time basis.
