Author Information

"Steven Keller is a native of Washington State and spent nearly half of his years in California's Central Valley. Steven has studied sociology, botany, biology, economics, history, archaeology, philosophy and music at several different institutions. He has also spent more than two decades in management positions and small business and is an expert in antique and classic car restoration. Steven was diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's Disease in 2011 at the age of 41. By the age off 44 Steven had self-published his first book on Parkinson's disease. In 2012 he introduced a survey exclusively for Parkinson's patients to determine if there were commonalties and differences in Parkinson's disease directly from patients ranging from questions about diet and upbringing to lifestyle and recreation. Steven retired at age 47 and is currently pursuing his love of research and writing. He has travelled extensively in Colombia and Ecuador where he does most of his research and writing as well as photography. Since his Parkinson's diagnosis, Steven has become an avid researcher of health, diet, human biology, medical conditions, pharmaceuticals and the human body chemistry. In addition to authoring white papers and continually updating his books on Parkinson's, his current works and works in progress include subjects relating to diet and food, current cultural issues in the United States, semi-fiction novels, organized thinking, life guidance as well as an extensive autobiography which is continually in progress. Stevens primary goal as a writer is to educate, rationalize, provide understanding, deliver verified facts and clarify essential components of being, and finding peace and reverence in todays complicated world as an individual. Much of Stevens work is philosophical in nature and is often scrutinized for several years before being considered for print. The intent is often to simply provide tools and offer a type of framework or context that encourages the reader to further their knowledge based upon their interests and grow as a person. You will frequently find odd quotes from Steven along with some blatant sarcasm and seemingly nonsensical comments from time to time. These are not always well received, but they are well accepted. Some of Stevens favorite comments are: ""Live each day as if it were your first. Learn something new each day and broaden your horizons. If you treated every day as your last, you could never explore beautiful things that this world and life have to offer."" ""Things will get better, they always do."" ""I'm always ok, I am never alright, but life is good. I could not ask for more"""
