Author Information

Elio Sorci (1932-2013) was an original Italian paparazzo who is very well known in his native Italy, and has a growing following elsewhere. His then-unheard of confrontational methods transformed photography, and he won numerous photo-journalism awards during his lifetime. He is most famous for his 1962 image of a kiss between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton which exposed their affair and made the front pages of the world's newspapers.
