The Pakistan Institute of International Affairs (PIIA) (Urdu: OOZOO U O! The formal inauguration by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Liaquat Ali Khan took place on 26 March 1948. The draft memorandum of the PIIA was considered and approved on 28 September 1948.
