Overcoming Strongholds

Overview

"Are you being held hostage to old patterns, temptations, and recurring thoughts and behaviors you can't seem to overcome? You may be living with spiritual strongholds. Temptation and spiritual attacks are a part of everyday life. But sometimes patterns emerge--deeply entrenched thoughts and behaviors--that make us realize there is something deeper at work. Scripture tells us we can be subject to ""strongholds,"" fortresses of wrong thinking that exist in our mind and behavior when we continually live in compromise, outside of God's will and Word. He wants to liberate your heart, mind, spirit--and even your household--from the old habits and choices that you've been living in. This four-part study can help you uncover the strongholds in your life and walk away in victory toward a strengthened relationship with Jesus Christ."

Author Information

Lou Turner wrote the Living Life God's Way discipleship series out of his passion for men to discover God, and to get to know Him and what He has for them. The studies are the culmination of Lou's own journey-a life of seeking God, studying His Word, memorizing Scripture and meditating on it, and practical experience with family, community, marketplace work, and Christian ministry. Lou and his wife Joan have three grown children and 10 grandchildren, and make their home in Phoenix, Arizona.
