She then spent 10 years serving as the laboratory coordinator for the introductory geology courses at George Washington University, and as a professional lecturer in numerous colleges and universities throughout the Washington Metro Area. She has taught classes in environmental geology, physical geology, physical geography, geo-hazards, and land use planning.
