He has written widely on Mexican politics and poli cymaking and coedited of a volume on U.S.-Mexican security issues in the post-Cold War era (Strategy and Security in U.S.-Mexican Relations: Beyond the Cold War). From 1980-1991 he directed the Mexico Seminar at the U.S. State Department's Foreign Service Institute. Roy Godson is a professor of government at Georgetown University and directs the National Strategy Information Center in Washington, D.C.
