He has performed on stage and television with an appearance on Grimm and in a commercial for Nickelodeon's 2015 Kids Choice Sports Awards Show, alongside Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russel Wilson. On stage he has performed as Swamee Kree, in Valley Repertory Theatre's production, of local playwright Charles Deemer's play, Christmas at the Juniper Tavern. His paintings had been featured in art shows produced by RAWArtists Portland, a grassroots organization that promotes new and upcoming artists around the world. What makes the images in this adult coloring book unique? The style in which the images are created is new and complex. It has been described as Organic Abstracts'. I start with a blank page and, using a black sharpie, I begin pulling my pen across the paper and let the line meander until images start to form. I then build upon these images until I have filled the page. Some of these pages have specific images hidden within. One has a rhinoceros for example. As you begin to color you will see the pictures come to life. People everywhere need to unwind. And a fun, simple way to address this need is with coloring books. With coloring books, you can let your creativity run wild and stamp out stress at the same time! We can all be artists! When you complete one of my images you will feel a sense of satisfaction. You have an image ready for you to explore with color. I think one of the barriers for artists is the feeling that what you are creating will not be accepted by others. The beauty of a coloring book is half the work is done already. The image has been chosen and drawn; now you have the power to affect how the image finally looks. Art can empower you! So how do we achieve relaxation in our adult coloring books? These images are complex and can take time to complete. The outside world falls away as you fill in the nooks and crannies. You begin focusing on a single action and meander through the container you are filling. There are no straight lines in the images in this book so every image is fluid and flowing.
