OverviewThirty years ago, and halfway around the world, young CIA operative Second Lieutenant Arthur D. Fletcher secretly harvested a treasure trove of deadly pathogens buried deep in the permafrost of northern Siberia. The United States, along with many countries, banned bioweapon warfare, but the CIA covertly pursued its research and development. Fast forward to 2019 and the CIA discovers a certain amount of pathogen is missing. Fletcher is suspected of the theft. The CIA wants it back. Worse, other nefarious terrorist groups want it too. When twenty-one-year-old Carly Fletcher receives an agitated call from her father, she agrees to meet him at an isolated park in Detroit. She witnesses the brutal murdered of her father but not before he gives her clues to the location of the pathogen. She suppresses those clues right along with the vision of her dying father. Carly's world spirals out of control. She is admitted to Holy Oaks Psychiatric Hospital, with Situation Specific Amnesia...an amnesia brought about by traumatic events. Do her doctors have her best interests at heart? Bo Harris, Carly's lover, is captured, tortured and ransomed by those who want the deadly pathogen. Fellow resident David Farris helps Carly escape from the hospital and the two set out to find the pathogen. Carly falls in love with David but will do anything to save Bo.
