For a brief time, she was a kindergarten teacher at a public school in Prince George's County, MD., but later, she transitioned into home education when she started a family and moved to New York. On top of being a home educator to her six kids for 26 years, she is a volunteer leader and teen mentor through Young Life. With them, she shares the love of God and encourages them to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ. She resides in Western New York with her two sons, their spunky Malamute, and her incredible husband, Rick. Alyssa Rogan was born and raised in Rochester, NY, with her five siblings. Having loved storytelling from a young age, she attended a Christian liberal arts college in Western New York and studied writing. Since her teenage years, Alyssa has been writing fiction novels about teenagers and is pursuing the path of publication. She aims to glorify God by penning stories that demonstrate our need for Christ in a culture that desperately needs Him. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her sister and her well-behaved Malamute.
