"Ho cominciato a disegnare ""omininidi"" alle elementari, per gioco. Muratori, meccanici, imbianchini - poi ho smesso e li ho dimenticati per lungo tempo. Nel 1986, per sopravvivere alla noia mortale di una giornata trascorsa in spiaggia, provai a riesumarli e tale fu il divertimento che continuai a disegnarli sino ai primi anni del 2000. Omininidi: caricature umane talvolta tenere, altre ciniche, spietate. Piccoli esserini un po' imbranati, capaci per� di somigliarci e, spero, farci sorridere - magari anche di noi stessi."
