Overview

Earth is nearly 70 percent water. Most of this water is frozen in the form of glaciers. As our planet warms, glaciers are melting faster than usual. Sea levels rise, and water washes over coastal areas. Homes are destroyed. Habitats are lost. Scientists have been following the changes in glacier ice and ocean levels. Discover what they've learned and what changes humans need to make to keep our heads above water.

"""This series packs a lot of information on environmental awareness and activism into eye-pleasing graphic guides. Author Information

Before embracing a career as an author, Christina Hill received a graduate degree in literature. She knew that she had a passion for both education and the written word and discovered that educational publishing is the perfect blend of both. When she is not writing on a variety of subjects from climate change to Shakespeare, Hill can be found hiking, mastering yoga handstands, or walking her playful puppy across the coastline of sunny Southern California. Julie Lerche is a graphic novelist and art instructor from Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from the Manhattan School of Visual Arts in 2020 and received a BFA in Cartooning. She has worked on projects for HarperCollins, Scholastic Graphix, and High Noon Books. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, playing D&D, and putting salt on things that don't need salt.
