Overview

Beth is a private detective commissioned by the local municipality to investigate all new employees. Mekedo became a person of interest since she was a foreigner from one of the African states. She came through a labour broker named Marais. he and his associates were operating a human trafficking operation. Sam, Stanley, Michael and Joseph entered the country through the same channel. Marais treated everyone as merchandise up for sale. After a few years, Sam and his friends had become citizens and somehow Joseph owned a pharmaceutical company. He was intending to expand his business activities by buying any enterprise of his choice. Joseph was running a mafia-style organisation employing Marais and his white friends. Sam fell in love with Mekedo, but she was a handful challenging everyone including her employer. In her mind, no one could tell her she was doing something wrong. She fell foul of the law because her documents turned out to be fake. She was facing deportation because she had a criminal record in her country. At the same time, she was popular among the opposite sex and Sam thought she was not honest with him. He became possessive and a few men became victims of his anger. None of his victims could lay charges against him fearing victimization.
